Thank You To Our Dear California Family!

Hello California Family,
After a long day of sledding and
playing hard in the snow, we had
a nice Christmas Eve dinner. As
you can see they look a little disheveled and tired! They should
sleep good tonight before Santa
comes!!
They are so excited about their gifts
and thank you so much.
Sure wish we could be together during
this time of the year! We miss you
so much! Enjoy the pictures and the
video!!

COOL!! Wii candy dispensers!
Love the books......

Hmmmm...What could this be?

Drum roll.......

Oh my gosh! They couldn't believe
it!

The boys and I at their new snow fort daddy helped them make today. Pretty cool! They have all kinds
of trails carved out in the yard that lead up to it too.

To watch the video go to "My Music" first and pause the song that is playing. Enjoy! We love you!!

Snow Day/Night!!

If you could imagine the end of our driveway being this
high with snow.....

Good thing I didn't have to go out earlier to check the mail!
Luke on the huge snow pile at the end of our driveway.

Luke up to his waist! Gavin got stuck a few times...

Our garage is up a hill a bit....could you imagine us trying
to get our cars out of that! We have guys come and plow,
but Greg was worried that they wouldn't be back in time
before he leaves for work, so off to work he went-not very
happy!

Snow drift at our front door-we have a nice postman!

Luke and Gavin going down our man made snow slide!

Casino Night!

Last Friday we had our annual Christmas party for work
and it was casino night! It was alot of fun!!

I did really good! I won 9,150 in chips! Should have been
at HoChunk that night!!

A Funny Wii Moment...

Our First Snow!

All I am going to say is I don't like being cold!

The snow is beautiful though...

Not as beautiful as the sand at Siesta Key, Florida....

A Couple Tid Bits...

So yesterday morning I was helping Luke get his teeth brushed, etc for school. He cups his hands and puts them under the water and says, "Mom, this is how it was done in the 17's." Like people drinking from their hands rather than from a cup ( in the 1700's)...It was so funny! You just had to be there.

Greg went out and got the boys their new snow gear yesterday (boots, hats, mittens, scarves, snow pants....) When Greg got home we tried everything on the kids to make sure it fit okay. Gavin whined for awhile about the boots saying they hurt. It popped in my mind to say to him they are just like Anakin Skywalker's boots! We convinced him to try them on again and we haven't been able to get him to take them off since! Now he calls them his Skywalker boots. Luke has followed Gavin and has been wearing his all day too. So much for having Gavin throw such a fit in the beginning, now you can't get him to take the darn things off! Ugh!

Alone...without a camera

I have no camera this weekend! I feel lost...Anyway, It is due to the fact that Greg is 5 hours up north with his cronies (police buddies) enjoying a weekend at a Yurt . If you don't know what the heck a Yurt is check this out...http://www.yurts.com/.
The Yurt sits on top of a mountain "rock". There is no running water or electricity. Greg said he had to take a roll of toilet paper! Have fun!! You won't catch me going poo in a hole! No, but really, it sounds fantastic. Beautiful location, and there is a zip line right off of the Yurt the guys will have allot of fun with. I told Greg he has to promise me he will wear a helmet! Bonfires, etc... I will post the photos when Greg gets home. Hope you are having a great time, dear!
