Date Night!

Greg and I had the opportunity to have a date Saturday! It was so nice. We dropped the boys off at Grandma Trotter's around noon for a slumber party. We hung out and ran some errands, which was nice since we actually got a chance to finish a conversation! We went out for dinner at Eldorado Grill. It was my first time there and I highly recommend you try it out if you have never been there before! Fantastic food. We then travelled on down to the Memorial Union. It was packed, but allot of fun. Great people watching spot. There was a big Trek event going on, so there were bikes everywhere!! What a beautiful day though. It was certainly nice to spend some quality one on one time with my husband! Oh, and sleeping in....what's that!?!

Illness.....

How is it possible that you can get the flu in the middle of the summer? Only in Wisconsin, eh? Yesterday I was preparing to take my son, Gavin to Urgent care when he asked, "Mommy, what kind of doctor will I see today?" I said, "I don't know." To which he replied, "Probably Dr. Seuss!" It was the best laugh I had in awhile. So darn cute!

ICEE!

AHHHH...the incredible Icee..the kids just love em. One trip to Target and we make a b-line right to the concession stand. Gavin jumping up and down like he's just won the lottery. Luke filling his cup with every option there is. It's great! One day to be a kid again-that would be choice!

This is a picture of the boys from our last trip to Siesta Key Beach(Sarasota, Florida) before we moved home in May. I miss the beach-I miss going down whenever I want and putting my feet in the most amazing sand in the world! It's like powder. Also missing the most amazing in-laws anyone could ever ask for. Miss you Bonnie and Terry!!
